Who we are

Our History

After the collapse of the Somali central government and during the period of civil war, and all the infrastructure of the government collapsed during that time most of the people in Somalia were suffering from many problems such as lack of shelter, malnutrition, lack of health care, lack of Sanitation and hygiene, lack of quality education and many others. It was the women and children who were subjected to a lot of pressure. Women and children in Somalia are the least considered group in the community and faced many complications all through this time. Many of them suffer in a state of health and mind because of the war causing troubles. Al-amin Somalian Foundation aims to support the weakest section of society. While to support education, health care and water and environmental sanitation. The organization was established in 2021 as a non-governmental, non-profit organization in Kismayo. It is a coastal city. Where created to Support the Needy and the Poor, an organization that fights its way to building a safe society through better education, healthcare and public awareness. Al-amin Somalia foundation was formed by a group of professional men and women. Members of the ASF include men and women of various skills. These include administrators, teachers, farmers, and other professionals. It operates under the effective management of the Board of Directors. There are administrators in the board and the board of directors meets once a week. There is an annual meeting, and the council selects the chairman and members of the executive committee. The council also plans next year's activities and an annual plan to start in January to December of each year.

Our Mission

Statement of the mission of the ASF, which is to help the community live in peace and maintain their livelihood in a manner worthy of them. And also giving focus to the development of the country by supporting the basic needs of the state such as improving health, protecting the environment and education, through capacity building and sound programming to manage limited resources and utilize them in the best way.

Our Vision

The ASF expects a peaceful and harmonious society and an improved quality of health and education. The activities will be directed towards this requirement somewhere on the provision of equal opportunity within the community. Improving health and education and making the nation a model means getting it easy.

Our leaders are experienced in serving in difficult places and are committed to service vulnerable parts of the community on volunteer bases
